Loki the Deceiver is almost never worshipped openly within the borders of Estian civilization. Acolytes of Loki usually keep their beliefs a secret, even from others who might share the same faith. The one exception to this are the Drow elves of the Underdark, whom openly worship Loki as the Spider Prince, ever plotting to advance the standing of their houses.

Earning and losing piety

You increase your piety score to Loki when you expand the influence of deceit by committing acts such as these:

• Have one of your crimes blamed on someone else
• Set up and execute a successful ambush
• Successfully perform a heist
• Defile the temple of another god

Your piety score to Loki decreases if you diminish his influence, contradict his ideals or otherwise ridicule him through acts such as these:

• Show mercy to a defeated opponent
• Reveal secrets about yourself to anyone but Loki
