Inspiration Cards
When a player does something cool, or commendable, they may draw a card from the inspiration deck. Perhaps they role-played something extra well, or they brought snacks for everyone. They keep this card until they want to spend it, at which point it is shuffled back into the deck.
The cards can be spent at any time, including on the turns of other creatures and players, if the effect is applicable.
The cards are split into four general categories. Spades grant negative effects to enemies, hearts are positive effects for personal use, diamonds are skill-related boosts, and clubs are wildcards with various effects. The non-face cards are smaller effects, and aces are very powerful effects.

A joker card can be redeemed for a truthful hint from the DM regarding a problem the players are having.
